I will have four more English e-books coming out this year. The first will be IN THE VALLEY OF RAINBOW MIST in July. This book is set in the Blue Mountain region in Australia. Look out for it. Meanwhile three other titles previously published in foreign languages will be out in English. More about that when I have the dates.

Thank you kindly to my readers who post good reviews on amazon. They are much appreciated. I write for you, my readers, so it’s always wonderful to have positive feed back. It’s inspirational for the book I am working on. It’s also wonderful to have my latest book released in English at the same time as the German release. I hope Flight of the Jabiru is as well received as the German translation.    ...

Flight of the Jabiru

Flight of the Jabiru was released this week. In German (title Dreams under the Red Sun) and in English as an e-book. This is the first time I’ve had a book come out simultaneously in English and German, so it was exciting. I’ve had a new editor and translator, so hopefully the books will do well. Other than that, I’m working on the outline for a new book. I’ve scrapped my first idea. I can’t seem to come up with good plots for books set by the sea for some reason. Hi, Still working on Staircase to the Moon. Running very late with my deadline but so many dramas have gotten in the way. That’s life with families, but it’s made focussing very difficult. Anyway, I think I’m back on track. The weather is beautiful on this side of the world. Christmas is rushing at us at the rate of knots. Bring on the New Year I say, and a much calmer life. This year has been hard for so many people I know. Friends have lost their partners to cancer. Other elderly friends haven’t been well. I have been asking myself if this is the stage of life I’ve reached when these things start happening. Perhaps it is. What happened to the Golden Years!  I’m not quite Golden but aren’t we supposed to have less...

Staircase to the Moon

If you are wondering what’s happened to me, we’ve had a long, cold winter, so it’s been good working weather. On the downside there’s been no incentive to get out into the world. I’ve completed three quarters of  Staircase to the Moon and it’s going quite well. Max, my poor old dog is getting old and has been sick.  He’s nine and a half now, very grey and limps quite often. My brother has been ill with pneumonia, quite a worry, but at least he’s stopped smoking. He’s a Vietnam veteran so I’m not sure how he’ll go giving up smoking. He started when he joined the army at eighteen and he’s well into his sixties now. Spring is upon us and I’m eager to finish the book and go...
